Rubber ring (8 inch) for Heybrook HB1 woofer

As expected, good service.

I bought a pair of rubber surrounds for my Heybrook HB1s. They arrived in 4 days which is excellent from the Netherlands to the UK.
Your website is brilliant and we followed your video to the letter. Also the written information was very useful too.
So an afternoon fitting the rings and letting them set overnight saw us put the speakers back together this morning.
And what a sound!. As good as new! I cannot believe that I almost binned them!!
So quick, so simple and so very brilliant.

Just fitted a replacement rubber on my perished 1990 HB1 (other one so
far not holed, but I will change it when I'm feeling brave) and it is a triumph.
Video very helpful. I used Servisol isopropanol for cleaning off the sticky
remainder and inserted a tin foil trough under the contacts during the
soldering, to catch any stray splashes. To emphasise, I have never used a
soldering iron before and have never done this type of thing either. Took a
bit of time, but worth it, considering the price of comparable replacement
units. Excellent product ; speaker looks and sounds as good, possibly
better, than before.
