Tip: The old foam surround (the outer ring) of the woofer acts as a sealing ring for the woofer if it is attached to the speaker cabinet from the rear. In that case, carefully remove the trim; you can then reuse it as a sealing ring when the woofer is reinstalled/glued back into the speaker cabinet.
