Replace Infinity Beta tweeter
Replacement tweeters for the Infinity Beta series (351572-001 & 362820-001) are unfortunately no longer available. We have a replacement tweeter in our range that is (electro)acoustically very similar to the original Beta tweeter. In order to place this tweeter in an Infinity Beta speaker, the housing of the tweeter must be loosened and modified slightly. Here we explain how to place a new replacement tweeter in an Infinity Beta speaker.
First remove the tweeter from the Infinity Beta speaker. The tweeter is attached with two screws behind the (plastic) decorative cover on the front.

Remove the sealant between the old tweeter and the housing.
Loosen the tweeter from the housing.
Make notches in the housing at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions with a dremel for the connection points of the new tweeter.
Or do this with a drill.
Roughen the inside of the tweeter housing with sandpaper so that the new tweeter can be placed in the housing (glued / sealed) later.
Make the tweeter housing dust-free using a brush, for example. Degrease the tweeter housing with ammonia if necessary.

Apply glue to the tweeter housing. Spread glue on the inside of the back.
Also apply glue to the outside of the plastic housing of the tweeter...
...and glue the tweeter into the tweeter housing. Make sure that the black housing of the tweeter contacts the front plate, the connection points of the new tweeter fall into the recesses made in the tweeter housing.
Then connect the tweeter, the size of the connection points indicates the pole, and screw the tweeter into the cabinet.
